Start A Vpn Before Login
Start Before Logon (SBL)? #77. Furthermore, a Start VPN Before Logon feature would be even more useful now with Windows 10, because Windows 10 now even lets you connect to wireless networks before logging on to Windows. Regards.
The video shows you how to provide network connectivity to Windows computers before user logon with Start-Before-Logon feature on Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility VPN. The feature provides a vehicle for the computer to contact Active Directory servers, for example, to authenticate the first-time login user without local account cache or to perform login script execution.
With Start Before Logon enabled, the user sees the AnyConnect GUI logon dialog before the Windows logon dialog box appears. This establishes the VPN connection first. Available only for Windows platforms, Start Before Logon lets the administrator control the use of login scripts, password caching, mapping network drives to local drives, and more.

Last year I did an article entitled "Connect to a Windows VPN at logon". Actually it is but Win 8 by default alters the standard domain logon that was present…
the thing is, with this script VPN will be enabled/connect every time I start. What I am looking for, is to be able to enable it manually before I want to login into Windows. So it should not be connect every time I start my Notebook. I want the possibility to connect from the login screen, when needed. I hope this makes my problem more clear.
